DREAM VACATION:  Maldives 

 

FAVORITE PADDLING RUN:  That lanai run kai and I did is definitely my favorite run so far.

 

DREAM PADDLING RUN/ADVENTURE: I'd like to paddle the island chain one day. 

 

FAVORITE THING TO DO ON AN OC-1 (i.e. downwind run, surf, fish, etc.): Downwind when there is wind and fishing when it's flat. 

 

IF YOUR NOT PADDLING YOUR:  hanging out with the family.

 

IF YOU COULD TAKE ANYONE TO DINNER (dead or alive) WHO WOULD IT BE:  Though one... probably Bob Marley. After watching a documentary on him seems like he had a interesting outlook on things.

 

MUSIC OR NO MUSIC WHILE PADDLING:  No music. I gotta work on that one. 

 

BEST PIECE OF LIFE ADVICE YOU HAVE EVER RECEIVED:  

No matter how bad things are someone else has it worse.

FAVORITE OC-1 RACE:  The solo. Brings the best competition. Also probably one of the toughest races. 

 

WHO IS YOUR HERO IN LIFE:  My grandfather on my moms side. He's a Japanese American that served in WWll in the 442. When Pearl Harbor got bombed he went and enlisted in the army. A pretty selfless act that I honestly can say I'd probably be too scared to do myself. He'll always be my hero for that and just being an all around good guy. 

 

IF YOU COULD INSTILL ONE THING IN THE NEXT GENERATION OF PADDLING WHAT WOULD IT BE:  Hard work pays off. Keep grinding and the results will come.
