NORTHEAST CLINICS
In September Premier Paddle Sports invited me up the the east coast to do a road trip involving 3 clinics in 3 locations in 3 days from Annapolis ,Maryland to Rockaway Beach, Long Island. Jeff Cowley, who operates Premier Paddle Sports, puts a lot of energy into our sport of paddling and promotes the sport heavily along the eastern board. This was a no joke trip that consisted of long days on road and hours out on the water. I had the opportunity to see some places I’ve only heard of and paddle in areas that have great down wind potential. It’s always fun to be in new waters, even flat water, to experience what other paddlers experience. At the end of the trip, In Rockaway Beach, I was lucky enough to surf some fun waves from Hurricane Jose to complete the trip. It’s all part of the adventure that we are so lucky to have with our sport.
